As longtime meditators, we’ve felt the
magic carpet ride to peace and joy.

But we’re grounded enough to know that
it’s a see-it-to-believe-it kind of thing.
So we made the first step simple: sit.

Because mindfulness got too
mindful for its own good.

Even calm got complicated.

So we sat down to fix it.
No enlightenment.
Just gravity.

When we take a moment for ourselves,
the mean world feels nicer,
the hard moments feel easier,
and we feel better.

Things will look up when
you put your butt down.
